Mississippi River Bluffs
The "Bluffs" chapter is our oldest active chapter. Members—from the Diamond Bluff, Bay City, Hager City, and Maiden Rock areas—are passionate about local history and having fun. Quarterly business meetings include a potluck meal or picnic and a speaker or tour. The chapter hosts PCHA's annual Pancake Breakfast during Bay City Days in June. New members are always welcome.
Meetings: The third Monday of January, April, and October at the Bay City History Center.

Prescott Area
The Prescott Area Historical Society has been a PCHA chapter for over 30 years. Members donate time to Prescott's Welcome and Heritage Center at 235 Broad Street. On summer weekends, they maintain the gear house from the former Highway 10 lift bridge between Wisconsin and Minnesota and provide step-on bus tours of historic Prescott. PAHS was responsible for the design and building of a brick tower to house the old Prescott High School clock, which stands next to the Heritage Center. In 1996, it published an illustrated 600-page book written and compiled by PCHA members Dorothy Ahlgren and Mary Beeler. The History of Prescott, Wisconsin includes extensive genealogical information on Prescott's early settlers. It can be purchased from PAHS, through the Pierce County Historical Association office, or by calling 715-262-4722.
Spring Valley
The Spring Valley Area Chapter covers the northeastern part of Pierce County and part of southeastern St. Croix County. Members meet three or four times annually. The chapter's major emphasis is collecting the history of its area and making it available to people through the Spring Valley Public Library. It supports various projects of historical interest and has published All our Yesterdays, a series of seven books recording the area's history and personal reminiscences. Copies are available for purchase at the PCHA office. Small and friendly, the chapter always welcomes new members.

River Falls
No formal chapter meetings are being held, but members support PCHA activities such as the spring 85-Mile Garage Sale, the Freier Schoolhouse opening at the Pierce County Fair, and information gathering for various River Falls history events and projects.
New, enthusiastic members are welcome! The process of preserving River Falls' heritage can't continue without you.
